WhoWho are we, and what do we believe?
AsAs a ministry operating in conformity with the Word of God, we are:
A Bible-Based Church
As a Church, we believe that the Word of God is a lamp to guide our way and light our path. We understand that as a community we face problems that are new to every generation; but the bible transcends time to speak to our joys, pains, and concerns. To that end, we will engage ourselves in serious and continuous bible study. The bible tells us to study to show ourselves approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, one who handles the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15).
As a church community, we provide biblical teachings to aid persons in their spiritual growth, and develop cognitive training classes to bring about personal wholeness.
A Christ-Centered Church
As a church, we want Jesus Christ to be at the center of everything that we do. We want to present and represent Jesus Christ in the most excellent ways. We want to live like Christ, love like Christ, and serve like Christ. Like Christ, we want to become advocates for the poor, the helpless, the lost, and the left out. We will support our community and be a blessing to our own families for the sake of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 25:35-40)
A People-Focused Church
As a church, we understand that Christ performed miracles on people, died for people, rose from the dead for people, and ultimately will come back for people. For these reasons alone, we strive to become a people focused church. Jesus said, “The world will know that you are my disciples by the love you have for one another (John 13: 35).” Simply put, love of Christ is love of neighbor. We cannot love Christ without loving our neighbor.
