Rev. Dr. Carol L. Green-Freeman, Senior Pastor

Dr. Green-Freeman is a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, having been licensed in the Baptist Church in November 1997 and ordained in December 2001.

She is a graduate of Morgan State University Baltimore MD, earning a Bachelors of Art degree in Telecommunications, is a graduate of St. Mary’s Seminary and University, Baltimore, MD earning a Master of Arts degree in Theology, is a graduate of the Howard University Divinity School, Washington, DC, earning a Doctor of Ministry Degree.   ​​

Dr. Green-Freeman is currently a minister with standing in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the Capital Area Region and is the Senior Pastor of the Wilson Boulevard Christian Church, Arlington, VA, serving since 2006 as the first African American minister in its then 94 year history.

She is a former Adjunct Professor of Philosophy and Ethics at the Howard Community College in Columbia, Maryland.

Her ministerial thrust and theme is to Empower People for Divine Purpose through preaching and teaching the Word of God.


She is married to Thomas C. Freeman, Sr. and they have two sons, Thomas C. Freeman, Jr. and Santron T. Freeman.
